Nike Air Jordan 1

Nike Air Jordan 1

The acclaimed Air Jordan 1 model was first seen late in 1984 on Michael Jordan, of which at the time only a unique pair of Jordans had been produced, which of course belonged to Michael Jordan. A year later, in 1985, the iconic Air Jordan 1 was released to the public. Since then, the hype, the sneaker culture and the Air Jordan brand have been undeniable - Nike has managed to make such an iconic brand through the Air Jordan series that to this day, it remains the most dominant sneaker brand worldwide.

Since its inception in 1985, Nike has released more and more Jordan 1's as demand has steadily gone up - in part due to the fact that every time Michael Jordan jumped into his Jordan 1's for basketball games during his playing days with the Chicago Bulls, he was fined $5,000 for violating the uniform policy - Nike has truly managed to create a very special demand through the Air Jordan brand.

By constantly releasing colors that appear incredibly unique such as the light blue Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Obsidian" and the super fresh Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Royal Toe", the Air Jordan brand has appealed tremendously to sneakerheads all over the world. Additionally, throughout the brand, Nike has been thorough in their marketing by constantly recreating previous models, both as the Jordan 1 High, but especially also by reproducing it in the two less recognized models respectively the Jordan 1 Mid and the Jordan 1 Low. This can be seen through the recent re-release of the Nike Air Jordan 1 High 85 "Neutral Grey", which is a successor to the original Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Neutral Grey" that was released back in 1985.

Other suggestions: Nike Dunk Low or High.
